Human or Not

Human or Not is an interactive online Turing test game and social experiment developed by AI21 Labs. The project evaluates how effectively humans can differentiate between real people and generative artificial intelligence conversational models in brief textual exchanges. In each two-minute chat session, a user communicates with an anonymous counterpart that is either a human participant or an artificial intelligence agent. When the timer concludes, the user must guess whether the conversation partner was human or AI, generating benchmark data on human perception and machine dialogue realism. The platform is designed for the general public, artificial intelligence researchers, technology enthusiasts, and educators. Access to the experiment is completely free through standard web browsers.
