Claude Code is Anthropic's coding agent. It maps and explains entire codebases with agentic search, makes dependency-aware edits across multiple files and handles tasks from bug fixes to full features, asking for approval before modifying files or running commands. It works in the terminal, VS Code and JetBrains IDEs, the browser, mobile apps, Slack and GitHub (turning issues into pull requests). It is included in the Claude Pro plan (US$20/month, or US$17/month billed annually) and in Max (from US$100/month, with higher usage limits); it can also be used via the Anthropic API with per-token billing.
